Hello, Andrea and Victor. I'm currently working on a couple pieces I will paint on the covers of my new sketchbook. Could I please use your pictures "Aztec Eagle 4" and "Aztec Motif 1" as references?
The key to Aztec drawings comes down to geometrical figures, if you noticed every single piece I have uploaded are separated by single shapes: One perfect example is the monkey the figure was simplified with several independent shapes. If you want to make your own drawing with an Aztec theme you need to brake down the shapes into figures and then work on the style until you can make it look clean. It's complicated at first but then it becomes easy once you get the hand of it
